Saudi imports of consumer-oriented products are growing approximately 5 percent annually and are now estimated at $3.5 billion. Agri-food imports from the United States reached a record $475 million in 2006. With a young and growing population, Saudi Arabia will continue to be a growth market for U.S. food products in the years to come.
