Argentina's nursery imports have almost tripled since 2003, going from $1.8 million in 2003 to $4.8 million in 2006. Because of their temperate climate, most regions of Argentina will be adaptable to plant cultivars from the southern U.S., providing an opportunity for growers from the SUSTA region to offer a wide selection of temperate and tropical plants for export.
