The United States is Central America's biggest trading partner. Central America has a population of nearly 36.5 million people and an aggregate GDP of nearly $72 billion. The Central American countries have merged their economies into a larger commercial blocks linked by free trade agreements with larger world markets and undergone economic forms. These policies have sparked growth in the trade sector of this region. |
