In 2007, the Caribbean and Central America imported record amounts of U.S. consumer-oriented agricultural products, totaling $1 billion and $559 million respectively. SUSTA will partner with Food Export-Northeast and Food Export-Midwest, as well as the Caribbean Basin Agricultural Trade Office, to bring 17 buyers from the Caribbean and 6 Central American buyers to Miami for a reverse trade mission. Suppliers participating in this event will benefit from market overviews and pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with retail and food service buyers.
Companies that register before June 18 will pay a discounted participation fee of $175.
