China Nursery Promotion |
| |
In 2004 China imported almost $40 million of nursery products worldwide, with only 2.6% of that coming from the U.S. There are several factors at work that will increase future amounts of nursery material that China will import in the coming years: China will host the Olympic Games in 2008, and the nation is undergoing a variety of immense beautification projects, mostly centered on the Olympics and Olympic facilities, but also including re-landscaping existing buildings, land rehabilitation, soil stabilization and highway beautification projects. more |
