The United Arab Emirates has a rapidly expanding economy, with a population estimated at 4.5 million and gross domestic product of around $104.2 billion in 2005. SUSTA will again invite southern U.S. suppliers to exhibit at the Gulfood 2009 trade show. Companies that do not attend the show may send product samples to display in the SUSTA pavilion. SUSTA representatives will collect trade leads and forward them to participants after the event.
