Sales of value-added foods in Eastern Europe increased more than 68 percent from 2000 to 2005. The Czech Republic has a population of 10.2 million, and demand for high-quality U.S. food products has increased. SUSTA invites southern U.S. suppliers to participate in a trade mission to Prague, where they will meet one-on-one with buyers, be briefed on the market and tour supermarkets. Participants will receive airfare from the U.S. to Prague, and SUSTA will pay for shipment of up to 50 lbs of product samples.
