Dubai has become the distribution hub for flowers and plants in the Middle East.  Between 2003 and 2007, the United Arab Emirates' nursery imports from the United States rose from $90,000 to an astonishing $1,282,000.  The IPM Dubai trade show includes information about plants, technology, floriculture, and sales promotion as well as plant care and logistics.  IPM Dubai aims to stimulate horticulture trade of plant and nursery products in the United Arab Emirates and surrounding regions.  SUSTA invites southern U.S. horticulture suppliers to purchase booth space at a reduced cost in the SUSTA pavilion.  Suppliers will also receive interpreter services and free shipping for up to 100 lbs of product samples from a consolidation point.
