The passage of the U.S.-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA) provides duty-free access to two-thirds of U.S. agricultural products into the country and makes Peru an attractive market for southern U.S. suppliers. In 2007, sales of U.S. consumer-oriented products increased by 75 percent. Ecuador’s economy is expected to grow at an annual rate of 2-3 percent, and interest in foreign food products is on the rise. Join SUSTA on a trade mission to these growing, untapped markets, where companies will participate in one-on-one meetings with potential buyers, tour retail stores in Lima and Quito, as well as receive airfare for one company participant.
