Changing social and economic conditions, including rapid urbanization and increasing disposable income, have transformed the way South African consumers purchase food. There has been a rapid rise of supermarkets in the country, which now account for approximately 55% of the current national food sales. more
   
Event Name 2010 AgriFood Manufacturers & Producers Expo
 

South Africa's food retail sector continues to expand, and supermarkets and convenience stores are becoming the dominant retail outlets in the country. Southern U.S. suppliers are invited to exhibit in the SUSTA pavilion at the AgriFood trade show to meet key importers and buyers in this market.  Participants will receive furnished booth space and free shipping for up to 50 lbs of product samples from a consolidation point to the show.  Additionally, a chef will prepare dishes using product samples. 

Activity participation fee and dates are subject to change.
