Chile became the first South American country to be invited to join NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement, and is currently one of Latin America’s leading economies. Chile has a population of about 16 million, a GDP of $118 billion, an annual growth rate of about 6 percent and a per capita GDP of $8,900. more
   
Event Name 2010 Chile Trade Mission
 

The Chilean-United States Free Trade Agreement makes Chile an ideal trading partner for southern U.S. suppliers. SUSTA invites southern U.S. suppliers to participate in a trade mission to Santiago, the country’s thriving capital city. Participants will meet with potential buyers of agricultural food products in pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings. The participation fee includes: airfare to and from Santiago, ground transportation in Chile, interpreter services, a market assessment for your products, a market tour, a reception with Chilean importers, and free shipping for up to 50 lbs of product samples.
