The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is made up of 5 Arabic countries that are highly dependent on imported foodstuffs and have a combined population of approximately 12 million people with high per capita income levels. Approximately 90% of their food, food ingredients and feed products are imported. more

   
Event Name 2010 GCC Inbound Trade Mission
 

The GCC (Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE) countries have some of the highest per capita incomes in the world. The area has a combined population of approximately 12 million inhabitants and as much as 90% of their foodstuffs are imported.  In addition to foodservice opportunities there are a number of western style retail food chains present throughout the GCC; many of the chains  are familiar with U.S. food products and are eager to bring new consumer food items to their markets.This event gives you the opportunity to meet one on one with pre-qualified buyers from the GCC.
